NINE Griffithstown residents are celebrating the best possible start to their weekend after each scooping the £1,000 daily prize with the People’s Postcode Lottery.
The Maes-Y-Celyn neighbours netted the windfall when NP4 5DG was announced as a daily prize winner with People’s Postcode Lottery on Thursday, June 11.
People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Danyl Johnson sent his well-wishes to the winners.

A minimum of 32 per cent of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised over £500 million to date for thousands of good causes.
This draw was promoted by Girlguiding, which has received over £5.2 million in funding from the players of People’s Postcode Lottery.
Girlguiding is active in every part of the UK, giving girls and young women a space where they can be themselves, have fun, build brilliant friendships, gain valuable life skills and make a positive difference to their lives and their communities.
Many good causes close to the winners have also benefitted from players’ support, and local charities can next apply for funding in August.
