TWO lucky Irish punters have landed €500,000 in tonight’s EuroMillions Plus draw – but there was no winner of the jackpot worth over €29 million.
The winning EuroMillions Plus tickets were sold in Dublin and Louth.
The winning digits in the main draw were 5, 11, 17, 24 and 37, while the two Lucky Stars were 3 and 6.
While there was no winner of the EuroMillions jackpot of €29,131,137, in total, over 58,000 players in Ireland won prizes.
Meanwhile, one Irish player matched five numbers to win €13,455.
The numbers for the EuroMillions Plus draw, worth €500,000, were 9, 10, 17, 19, and 31.
On top of the Dublin and Louth EuroMillions Plus winning tickets, there were 10 winners of the Ireland-only raffle prize of €5,000.
Just two weeks ago, a lucky Leitrim punter became more than €96,000 richer after matching five numbers and the bonus ball on the Irish Lotto draw.
The National Lottery announced the winning ticket was purchased at McGowan’s Spar store on the Main Street in Kinlough, Co Leitrim.
A spokesperson said: “It’s a great bit of news for the town of Kinlough and for Noel McGowan and his staff.
“The shop has a reputation for being a lucky Lottery shop and this latest win adds more weight to this status.”
The lucky Leitrim Spar has a history of Lottery success with the jackpot-winning ticket being sold at McGowan’s spar as recently as 2016.
Since 2006, the Spar store has amassed National Lottery top prize-winning tickets to the value of over €13 million.
