A LOTTERY winner from Essex who scooped a £1 million prize plans to pay off his mortgage and buy a new car.
The lucky winner, known only as Mr D from Essex, won the cash prize by playing a National Lottery instant win game on his phone.
He will use the money to pay off his mortgage, buy a new car and is looking forward to a trip to Disneyland with his family.
Mr D celebrated his win with a few drinks, a Domino’s pizza and three tubs of ice-cream.
Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at The National Lottery, said: “Huge congratulations to Mr D for winning this fantastic prize.
“After a few simple clicks he can bow look forward to receiving £1 million.”
The money was won through the ’20X’ instant win game on the National Lottery app, with Mr D scooping the top prize.
